Ever since I was a child, finding four leaf clovers has come super easily. I’m not sure why (I don’t think it’s synesthesia…), but they just sort of “pop out” at me as I look around. I can spot them as I walk along the sidewalk at a decent pace, and one time I even found one after a glance to check my mirrors while I was parking a car.
When I was 5 years old, I found a huge clump of dozens of four and five leaf clovers and was blown away. Ever since, I wanted to have a “lucky patch” of clovers where anyone would be able to find a four leaf clover to take with them. After a chance sighting of a patch of lucky clovers at Fort Point near the golden gate bridge, I pulled up a tiny part of the clump (leaving plenty of luck behind) and replanted in a pot at home.
Some observations after finding hundreds of 4 & 5 leaf (and even a few 6 leaf) clovers my whole life:
Still to be found… the infamous lucky seven leaf clover from Futurama.
